Very thick, strong velcro cut from a single piece. The only negative is that it seems to be cut or punched with something a bit dull, so the edges are a bit more frayed than is usual with the cut edges on smaller velcro pieces on the market. This isn't a big problem since they're generously sized and the hook side may need to be trimmed a bit for a particular patch, anyway. Would definitely recommend!
